Australian GP
The Albert Park complex is very striking indeed both in terms of its sheer size and the buzz of activity that surrounds it. The Formula 1 street circuit snakes around a lake in the eponymous park which is dominated by a large Ferris wheel. The paddock is large and the weather is normally warm and sunny around Grand Prix time. In Australia, the Ferrari Formula 1 Club is usually open to guests from the Thursday of the race weekend onwards and thus activities take place over four days. The terrace is very large and spacious, directly overlooking the pit lane to allow guests enjoy the whine of the engines and experience the intense atmosphere of both qualifying and the racing itself at first hand. Located just 5 kilometres from KLIA airport on the outskirts of the city of Kuala Lumpur, Sepang nestles in an ultramodern, tropical setting, and its design takes its inspiration from the hibiscus flower, the symbol of Malaysia. The terrace is actually inside the pit building with large windows overlooking the pit lane. There are also spectacular views from the roof. Despite the very hot, humid climate, you will stay cool and collected inside the Paddock Club which is fully air-conditioned and equipped with every imaginable comfort. Only opened in 2004, the Shanghai International Circuit is ultramodern and high tech. The hospitality areas in the paddock are located at the very end of wooden walkways over the water, which makes the views of the team areas even more pleasant. The Paddock Club is inside the pit building lounge and has a panoramic viewing terrace with views out on to the pit lane. The catering service inside is wonderfully sophisticated and inspired by local tradition. The Bahrain International Circuit is highly unusual in that it is surrounded by desert. The track incorporates a host of very sharp changes in direction and the facility itself has a notably Arabic design. The paddock is highly atmospheric and unusual with tents and beautifully lit palm trees in front of the team hospitality areas. Ferrari’s hospitality suite is located on the Paddock Club terrace inside the pit building. It overlooks the finish line, affording the very best and most exclusive views of the track and the pits.
