STYRIA REGION
Welcome to the greenest state in Austria, its Green Heart, which is around 60% forest. The land of mountains and forests, of wine and gardens and of towns and encounters. This is all typically Styrian. It is primarily, of course, the warm-heartedness of the people, followed by the many products that grow directly on our doorstep. Whether pumpkins, apples or the magnificent wine from the vineyards of the south. http://www.steiermark.com/en

Murtal holiday region
The peaks of the Tauern, the Zirbitzkogel, the Seetaler and the Seckauer Alps and the gentle curves of the Nockberge guarantee an excellent holiday experience and hiking adventures between 800 and 2,700 meters above sea level the whole year round. Warm-hearted mountain hut landlords will be glad to see you on all your trips and will treat you to genuine Styrian delicacies. Have you heard of the Styrian Germknödel dumpling? We will not reveal much, only this: you won’t find any poppies.

In summer, hiking, in winter, skiing: whether you are a skier or a snowboarder – wonderful pistes await you on the “8 Murtal ski mountains” – Turracher Höhe, Kreischberg, Lachtal, Grebenzen, Hohentauern, Frauenalpe, Präbichl and Gaal.
