After a hiatus of over ten years. The French F1 Grand Prix will be held on June 24th 2018 at the Circuit Paul Ricard, also known as le Castellet.
As revealed today by the pre-set calendar following the FIA WMSC held in Genève, the 59th French Grand Prix is the first of a seven-strong section of the European summer tour of F1.
As for the Circuit Paul Ricard, it will also be a comeback at the international top-level of motor sport. The last Grand Prix organized on the southern France’s legendary track dates from 1990. One year before the event, the formalization of the Grand Prix de France on the 2018 calendar is a powerful symbol for its organizer, the GIP Grand Prix de France - le Castellet.
