The Santander 2018 Spanish Grand Prix (or Gran Premio de España) is held at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. Exploring Barcelona will be easy and convenient during the Spanish Grand Prix weekend as all our recommended hotels are very central and ideal bases to do some quality shopping, visit great restaurants and enjoy nightlife at your doorstep.
Montmelo, where the track is located, is approximately 30min north-east of the buzzing city of Barcelona. Grand Prix Events provides efficient race track transfers on Saturday and Sunday with some of our F1 packages.
VIP Gold Hospitality Suites
The Gold Suite is located on the first floor of the main grandstand, just opposite of the pit lane, the pit garages and the main straight of the track. The suites with a capacity of 30-45 guests is ideal for small and medium sized groups as well as for individual guests.

Barcelona is a delightful and seductive city in which it is advisable to spend a few days. It is rich in architecture and heritage, has everything from smart shops to colourful markets, an endless selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and of course city beaches. Locals are famous for grazing away the day over mid-morning tapas, a long lunch, afternoon pastries and a late dinner.
The buzzing squares and the famous Ramblas attract locals and tourist alike. Mixing with Barcelonistas along the wide leafy avenues, in the shady plazas and markets and through the narrow streets of the old town.

Formula One crowds increased dramatically since Fernando Alonso became a force in Formula One winning his championship titles. For the 2018 race in May we expect once again a carnival atmosphere on the grandstands, combined with the wonderful weather and sun the event is set to be a memorable European opening race.
