Family Grandstand 33
Grandstand Family, a family-friendly grandstand, faces the dramatic Turn 6, a steep left-hander which sees the cars brake hard to sweep through the corner at 100 mph. This is a key overtaking spot and a great place to see the impressive braking and cornering ability of modern F1 cars.
You will see the cars charging towards you at 160 mph, then see them weave through this tricky corner, before opening the throttle to blast down the back straight.
At the Canada Pavilion Located in the northern part of the circuit, reached via the Concorde bridge. This left-right sequence requires drivers to brake hard for the first turn (from 260 to 90 km/h), and then after a straight of few dozen meters long, they have to negotiate the second corner with precision so as not to get off-line or to close to the outside wall.
This grandstand also enjoys beautiful panoramic views of the waters around Île Notre-Dame, and of the Montreal skyline in the distance.
Children 15 and under are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult, and adults over the age of 65 get to enjoy the race for special rate. The grandstand is located in the Family Zone which offers attractions specially geared toward families and food stands that suit their needs.
